Nevada: David Harbour and Lily Allen wedding

Nevada’s connection with the Netflix sci-fi show is one of the more recent ones. David Harbour (Jim Hopper) and singer-songwriter, Lily Allen recently got married in Las Vegas on Sept. 7, 2020.

They first started dating in 2019 and took the plunge with a very small wedding in Vegas as the pandemic was still going on. They were married by an Elvis impersonator.

Harbour has quickly become a fan favorite from Stranger Things as the grumpy but dependable Chief Jim Hopper of the Hawkins police department. While none of the adults on this show really have their lives together, he has had a pretty rough life.

He lost his daughter when she was relatively young and the aftermath of that caused his wife to leave. When we first meet him, he is lonely but covering it with sarcasm and caffeine.

But once the monsters arrive and Joyce starts making complaints about the fake body of her son, he doesn’t ignore it and this leads him to become a father again when Eleven has nowhere else to go. It also leads to him finding himself in the middle of something way bigger than he thought possible in his little middle-of-nowhere town.

If David Harbour can play a character like this with relative ease, marriage will be like a walk in the park, right??
