In the mood for some good Christmas movies? ‘Tis the season to start binging holiday favorites. And frankly, it’s never too early to put on a classic Christmas flick. So if you’re feeling the Christmas spirit already and you’re eager to get started, don’t worry. Disney+ has you covered with a wide array of Christmas classics you can start watching whenever you’re ready.

Currently, the streaming service offers a hodgepodge of beloved holiday Disney classics and just as many modern holiday movies. And if you’re looking to hibernate, there are enough options on Disney+ to last you through the winter, and then some.

The Christmas Star, Mickey’s Christmas Carol, The Muppet Christmas Carol, I’ll Be Home for Christmas, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, 12 Dates of Christmas, and A Christmas Carol, are all streamable, to name a festive few.

Not to mention, some of those streamable options can only be found on Disney Plus right now. So if you’re making a merry movie list and checking it twice, you’ll want to make sure you’ve added these.

Christmas movies on Disney+

Here are some of the top Christmas movies you can find on Disney Plus currently.

Mickey’s Christmas Carol on Disney+

Sure, this is one of many versions of A Christmas Carol out there, but it’s also one of the most classic. After all, who could forget Scrooge McDuck as Ebenezer Scrooge? And of course, it’s fun for the whole family.

The Muppet Christmas Carol on Disney+

Produced by Jim Henson, this musical comedy-drama film is by far one of the most famous and beloved on the list. The Muppet Christmas Carol is the wondrous, wacky, and wildly popular Henson spin on the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol. What more could you want?

I’ll Be Home for Christmas on Disney+

If you grew up in the 1990s, you’re likely familiar with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and this kid-friendly, silly-yet-sincere, holiday adventure. But even if you’ve never heard of J.T.T., I’ll Be Home for Christmas is one of those “feel good year round” merriment flicks that you’ll be glad you took a chance on this year.

A Christmas Carol  on Disney+

This may not be the one you’re thinking of, but it’s definitely a recreation you won’t be forgetting.  Jim Carrey stars as Ebenezer Scrooge in this this computer animated version of the classic tale. And you’ll have to see it to believe it.

The Nightmare Before Christmas on Disney+

This modern Christmas classic directed by Henry Selick and based on the story by Tim Burton is fan-favorite, often adored by even those voted least likely to get into the Christmas spirit. Not to mention, it was nominated for a number of awards in its heyday for good reason, including the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects and the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation.

And the original Christmas/Halloween music is killer, to say the least.

Frozen & Frozen II on Disney+

Some might argue that Frozen doesn’t count as a Christmas movie, but fans of the animated film often argue that it’s definitely a wintertime classic in the making. And we’d tend to agree. Both the first film and the sequel are available on Disney+.
