Stranger Things cast: Winona Ryder

Winona Ryder is the most famous person in Stranger Things, or at least she was until the series started. Now, it’s pretty hard to argue that is still the case with all of Millie Bobby Brown’s Instagram followers!

Ryder is a huge star, and her rise to stardom happened quite early in her career, which started in the 1980s.

Ryder had her big break in the film Lucas from 1986. A few years later in 1988, Ryder starred in Beetlejuice and Heathers, two of the biggest movies of the 1980s. Beetlejuice was the bigger hit at the time, but Heathers has become even popular over the years.

In Beetlejuice, Ryder starred as Lydia Deetz. That’s the role that launched her into stardom. Ryder became one of the biggest stars of the 1990s while starring in movies like Edward Scissorhands, The Age of Innocence, and Little Women.

Ryder was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in The Age of Innocence, which was directed by Martin Scorsese.

Now, Ryder is probably most well-known for playing Joyce Byers in Stranger Things. Hundreds of millions of people have watched this show around the world thanks to Netflix.

It will be really interesting to see what’s next for her character in Stranger Things season 4. Remember, Joyce left Hawkins at the end of season 3 with Will, Jonathan, and Eleven.
