Netflix Life presents Stranger Things Theme Week
By Bryce Olin
Stranger Things Theme Week starts on November 2
Happy Stranger Things week!
To celebrate the most popular Netflix original series, Netflix Life is dedicating the week of Nov. 2-6 to Stranger Things!
Most people know Stranger Things Day is Friday, Nov. 6, but it’s not the day Stranger Things premiered. The first season premiered on Netflix in July 2016.
November 6, 1983, is the day that Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp, was stalked by the Demogorgon and vanished into the Upside Down.
Dedicating one day of the year to Stranger Things didn’t seem like enough. So, we decided to make the whole week about Stranger Things.
Each day has a different theme, so make sure you follow along!

For ’80s Day, we’re dreamcasting Stranger Things if it was set in the ’80s and also looking at ’80s stars we hope to see in future seasons. For Barb Day, we’re paying homage to the great Barb Holland, played by Shannon Purser, and looking at what would have happened if she survived.
On Wednesday, we wanted to focus on one of the most underrated Stranger Things forces, the Upside Down and all of its inhabitants. Thursday is Eleven Day, and we’re looking at the parallels between Eleven and X-Men’s Jean Grey and more.
And, Friday is Stranger Things Day, and we have all sorts of good stuff planned for fans.
We’ll be sharing all the links here, so if you want to make sure you don’t miss any great content, bookmark the page now. You can also follow Netflix Life on Twitter and Facebook for lots of Stranger Things games, quizzes, graphics, videos, and more.
Stranger Things season 4 is currently in production right now. It would have ended by now, but it was delayed by about six months because of the pandemic.
Unfortunately, we won’t be seeing Stranger Things season 4 anytime soon. Hopefully, we’ll get a teaser or some new information to drop on Friday, Nov. 6.
Stay tuned for more news about the new season!
