Whether do love horrors or not, here are five must-see movies on Netflix

It’s Halloween night, but that doesn’t mean you want to be scared. And what about tomorrow when it’s no longer Halloween? It’s time to look at the must-see movies on Netflix this weekend.

There is something for all. We have a holiday-themed rom-com for those who are just ready to put the tree up already, and there’s an excellent 1990s movie for the kids. Of course, we can’t forget the horror.

Some of these movies aren’t available today. You’ll need to wait until tomorrow to watch them, along with all the other first-of-the-month drops this weekend.

Here are five must-see movies on Netflix from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1.

Holidate

We’ll start with the holiday-themed rom-com, Holidate. Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey star as two strangers who decide to become each others’ holi-dates. They go on holiday dates together, but they’re just friends.

Of course, like every other rom-com out there, the two start to have feelings for each other; real feelings. Can they make it work or are they better off as friends?

Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight

For those who do want a thriller on Halloween night, Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight is just for you. A group of teenagers go to a camp in an effort to get them away from their technology. It’s a screen-free weekend, but what happens when there’s a deadly danger somewhere in the woods?

This is a Polish thriller. It’s up to you whether you watch with subtitles or you opt for the English dubbing.

His House

We turn to Britain for the next thriller on the list. We had to include a couple for Halloween night, right? His House is more of a supernatural horror, focusing on something evil lurking beneath the surface of a small English town. That English town is where a couple have moved to after gaining refugee status when fleeing from their war-torn South Sudan home.

Ocean’s Eleven

How about an action-comedy? Everyone knows about Ocean’s Eleven, and it’s also one of the must-see movies on Netflix this weekend. George Clooney is Danny Ocean, a conman who gets a group together for one of the biggest heists yet.

You’ll have to wait until Nov. 1 for this one. It’s a great way to get over the fright of Halloween.

Casper

Finally, we need something for the whole family, right? How about a movie from the 1990s, Casper. It’s a firm favorite for so many, and it wasn’t that long ago it also made our weekend list. It’s just that good.

Casper is a ghost who just wants to be a real boy again, especially when he meets a young girl who moves into his house with her grieving father. Will he get his wish?

Sadly, it’s not on Netflix in time for Halloween, but you can watch on Nov. 1.
