With the exception of those that have been living under a rock for the last four decades, everyone that has had a hunger for answers and a thirst for the truth has had the privilege of experiencing the intrepid cold cases and paranormal phenomena showcased in the iconic series Unsolved Mysteries. The epic program first hosted by the legendary Robert Stack ran from 1987-2010, where it became a cold case until the streaming giant Netflix decided to reopen investigations. The rebooted version’s most notable difference is the lack of a host, but the exceptional structure makes it so one I snot needed, and topping the Stack-attack is something that just can’t be done. Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy and the show’s original creators Terry Dunn Meurer and John Cosgrove, have teamed up to reboot the classic program with brand new cases involving true crime stories, alien encounters, and possible paranormal occurrences. Unsolved Mysteries has told twelve gripping stories so far, which has to lead to a plethora of mind-bending theories from fans online. Some of the revelations in the Netflix reboot has resulted in the reopening of and, above all else has restored hope in some of the people involved that are either looking for justice or answers.
