When does The Flash season 7 come back?

The CW just announced the premiere date for The Flash season 7.

According to TVLine, The Flash season 7 isn’t going to premiere in January 2021 like we initially hoped. It’s being pushed back to February, premiering on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 8/7c on The CW. It’ll be followed by the premiere of Superman and Lois.

Episodes will air weekly, as normal.

The reason? You can blame the pandemic. It didn’t just halt filming back in March, but it’s made it difficult for many shows to start filming again. The Flash has been one of the last CW shows to return to filming, so that will connect to the delayed premiere.

Despite the initial plan to return to filming in August, the show didn’t get the go-ahead until October. It then had to postpone again due to positive COVID-19 tests.

We don’t know how many episodes there will be just yet. Usually, we get 22 to 23 episodes, except for last year when the season was shortened due to the pandemic. We would love to see 22 episodes this season, but due to the delayed start, the season may be shortened.

We don’t know! Not yet, anyway.

The season finale dates haven’t been set. That’s not surprising since we only just have the premiere dates. Without knowing the season length, it’s hard to figure out a rough time for the finale to even air.

Netflix gets the full season eight days after the finale. As soon as we get a season finale date, we’ll let you know when The Flash season 7 is coming to Netflix. It’s not going to be for a while, though.
