Watch The Crown season 4 trailer
Netflix released a new trailer for The Crown season 4!
The first half of the new trailer focuses on Gillian Anderson and her role as the first female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher. In the second half of the trailer, the focus turns to Emmin Corrin and her portrayal of Princess Diana.
The Crown will return to Netflix on Nov. 15 for its fourth season.
Anderson and Corrin bear striking resemblances to the people they are portraying in The Crown season 4.
Anderson’s stern demeanor and swept-back hairstyle make the resemblance uncanny. It is interesting to see snips of the interaction between Anderson’s Thatcher and Olivia Colman’s Queen. This season will span the duration of Thatcher’s role as Prime Minister, 1979-1990 and will highlight the tensions that arose between the PM and the Queen.
Corrin is just lovely in her portrayal of Lady Diana Spencer. Fans of the royals have long awaited the introduction of Diana to the series. She looks to have the free spirit and fashion sense that most people attribute to her.
This season will focus on the romance between Lady Diana and Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor). This will lead to their wedding and reveal the remake of the famous dress Diana wore at their wedding in 1981.

The fourth season also stars Helena Bonham Carter, Tobias Menzies, Erin Doherty, Emerald Fennell, Marion Bailey, Georgie Glen, Tom Byrne, Angue Imrie, and Charles Dance.
Season four marks the end of Coleman’s reign as Queen and in seasons five and six, Imelda Staunton will take the crown. Jonathan Pryce is set to play Prince Philip and Leslie Manville as Princess Margaret and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana. It was also recently announced that Dominic West would play the part of Prince Charles.
The sixth season will be the final for the series, but season 5 won’t be released until 2022, so the sixth season is a long way off.
Watch The Crown season 4 on Netflix on Nov. 15.
