It can’t be understated just how true it is that Netflix has something for everyone. Whether you prefer romance, comedy, horror, action, drama or any combination of genres, the streamer will have an original movie that caters to a specific taste. The Babysitter is a must-watch movie that will satisfy a number of viewers. The film centers on Cole (Judah Lewis), a tween whose babysitter Bee (Samara Weaving) has a few secrets under the surface. Cole learns Bee belongs to a satanic cult, but Bee will do whatever it takes to make sure Cole stays quiet about her activities.

The Babysitter comes from director McG, who also directed such movies as Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Terminator Salvation and This Means War. Upon release, the film received mixed reception from critics with a score of 72% on Rotten Tomatoes. But its success with fans was enough to earn the release of the sequel The Babysitter: Killer Queen in September 2020. Although the sequel garnered less favorable reviews than the original, the film series remains a fan favorite, and another sequel just might be on the way. The Babysitter and its follow-up are a must-watch double feature of campy teen comedy-horror fun.
