When will Legacies season 3 come back?

The CW has just announced the Legacies season 3 premiere date.

TVLine shared that Legacies season 3 will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 9/8c on The CW. It will follow Jared Padalecki’s new show Walker, and episodes will air weekly.

Like all the other CW series, Legacies has been delayed due to the pandemic. The CW chose not to put the pressure on filming. Instead, it opted for a pandemic-proof fall, with only Supernatural as the usual suspect in the lineup. All other fall shows were pushed to 2021.

The good news is filming got up and running relatively easily for the witchy show. We’ll get the students of the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted in January. The Flash season 7 is being held to February due to filming delays.

There will likely be 16 episodes to the season again. That has worked for the last two seasons, although we’d love for it to be upped to 22 in a normal year. Due to the delay, 16 is probably the maximum The CW will be able to fit into the schedule to get things back to normal next fall.

When will Legacies season 3 come to Netflix?

One thing you’ll want to know is when you can binge-watch Legacies season 3 on Netflix. After all, with a premiere date on The CW, shouldn’t that mean we get a premiere date on Netflix?

That’s not the way things work. We need a finale date, and we definitely don’t have that yet. We won’t get it for a few months yet, and it’s probably going to be June at the earliest. It could be later if there are further delays in filming, so we’ll keep you posted!
