Can you watch South Park on Hulu?

I used to love watching South Park on Hulu. However, it headed to HBO Max with all 23 seasons (at that time) in July of this year.

At first, I worried, “Where am I going to be able to get my Cartman fix now?” (He’s such a mess, isn’t he?) But then I realized there are at least three other places I could still stream the series.

Let’s explore the options.

1. Comedy Central

First up is the place where Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s colorful animated sitcom was first broadcast, Comedy Central. If you have cable, you can still watch episode premieres here.

If not, perhaps you have a TV bundle that comes with Comedy Central, such as, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV or Sling TV.

2. HBO Max

All episodes (except five) from all 23 seasons are now available on HBO Max, which also shows new episodes 24 hours after they first air.

“Why are five episodes not available on HBO Max and what are they?” I know you’re wondering because I was too.

They are:

  • “Super Best Friends” from the fifth season
  • “Cartoon Wars” parts I and II from the 10th season
  • “200” and “201” from the 14th season

According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO Max followed Hulu’s lead, which also didn’t show them, because of how they depicted a character based on the Prophet Muhammad.

If you’re a fan of South Park you know they don’t shy away from controversy. In fact, they embrace it. However, these episodes were just a little too controversial for comfort.

3. The South Park website

If you don’t have cable or TV bundles that include Comedy Central, or HBO Max, there is one other option: https://southpark.cc.com/.

You can watch free episodes, as well as the hour-long season 24 premiere, “The Pandemic Special.” Which, leave it to South Park (and my boy Cartman) to find the humor in the abysmal.
