Virgin River season 2 is coming to Netflix in November 2020

After much anticipation, Virgin River season 2 is finally coming to Netflix in November 2020, here’s when you can expect season 2 to drop. 

The wait for season 2 is nearly over Virgin River fans!

Premiering in December 2019 as part of an overwhelming line-up of Netflix Originals which also included the premiere season of The Witcher and the second season of the service’s buzzy drama You, Virgin River quickly managed to carve out its own passionate audience. This under the radar drama quickly won viewers over and was renewed for a second season not longer after.

While Netflix was quick with its renewal of the show, the months following the news have been a bit quieter than fans anticipated with next to no new information released on Virgin River season 2. That is until today, when Netflix confirmed the release date for season 2 in announcing its November 2020 line-up!

Although it was starting to look as though we’d have to wait until December or possibly early 2021 for Virgin River season 2 to finally be released, Netflix surprised fans when it revealed the upcoming season will premiere Friday, Nov 27.

Arriving on Nov. 27, the newest season will be the perfect Thanksgiving weekend binge for those looking to settle in and enjoy a relaxing day from the comfort of their couch after the holiday. The post-Thanksgiving release should also help the show’s viewing figures in giving fans something new to enjoy once they’ve finished their shopping and are looking to unwind after the craziness of the holiday.

At this time, Netflix has not yet released a trailer or synopsis for the upcoming season but at least we can take comfort in knowing seaosn 2 is just a short while away from releasing!
