Sci-fi movies on Netflix: Gantz:0 (2016)

The popular manga series Gantz written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku has been adapted into many forms of media, including video games and live-action films. In 2016 Toho released a Japanese CGI name science fiction action film called Gantz: O that Netflix subscribers can kick into gear with the click of a button. Gantz: O is, without a doubt, an exhilarating motion picture with sleek and stylish animation that works extremely well with some next-level action sequences making the entire endeavor a must-watch affair for anyone that is a fan of the source material or just outstanding action-packed movies with an exceptional sci-fi narrative.

Gantz: O’s storyline is mainly based on the Osaka arc from the original manga and follows a teen boy who is brutally murdered in a subway station only to be resurrected by a strange computer named Gantz. He is forced to suit in skintight advanced technology and teleport with a team to fight a large force of invading alien monsters in Osaka. They have two hours to kill them all, or the team members die. Each kill gives them points, and after reaching milestones, they can earn upgrades, resurrect a fallen teammate, or freedom from the game. Gamers, sci-fi fanatics, and Netflix subscribers that have a fondness for great CGI cinema will not want to miss Gantz: O.
