If you’re a fan of true crime documentaries, there are plenty out there to choose from. A new series called The Vow premiered in August on HBO and its subject matter is pretty unique.
The show examines the life of various members of NXIVM, a cult that presents itself as a pyramid marketing network. Although NXIVM promotes personal and professional development, it has been alleged that the company is a front for sex trafficking.

This docuseries premiered on August 23 of this year on HBO. The last episode aired just a few days ago on October 18. As reported by Decider, the series was renewed for a second season on October 16.
What is The Vow about?
Featuring interviews with former NXIVM and journalists who helped to publicize the cult’s crimes, The Vow takes a look at how the group ensnares people. Is The Vow on Netflix?
Unfortunately, this one is not available to watch on Netflix at this time. The series premiered on HBO, so it can be viewed on the network’s streaming platform, HBO Max.
