If you’re a fan of The Vampire Diaries, then chances are you love that all eight seasons are available to watch on Netflix.

As reported by IMDb, the series stars Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Kat Graham, Candice King, Zach Roerig, Michael Trevino, Steven R. McQueen, Matthew Davis, and Michael Malarkey. The show initially ran from 2009 to 2017 on The CW and spawned a spin-off series titled The Originals.

Based on the book series of the same name by L. J. Smith, The Vampire Diaries chronicles the life of Elena Gilbert, a teenage girl living in Mystic Falls, Virginia. The town has a supernatural history, which Elena soon uncovers after falling in love with a vampire named Stefan Salvatore.

Their relationship is complicated by the arrival of Stefan’s brother Damon, who is initially hostile but eventually falls in love with Elena himself. Together, the brothers must protect Elena from the sinister forces that converge on the town.

The Vampire Diaries features a mystical love triangle that puts the Twilight series to shame.

If you’re wondering if The Vampire Diaries is leaving Netflix, then you’ve come to the right place.

Is The Vampire Diaries being taken off Netflix?

According to Decider, The Vampire Diaries is, unfortunately, leaving Netflix… for fans in the UK and Ireland. The show will be leaving the streaming platform on November 1 in those countries.

Viewers in the U.S. will still have access to the title for now. However, since The CW’s parent company has its own streaming service, the popular series might very well leave Netflix in the future. We will keep you updated about the show’s streaming status.
