What’s new on Netflix today?

If you’re wondering what’s new on Netflix today, you came to the right place!

Below, we shared the full list of new Netflix movies and shows available to stream today.

New on Netflix: October 19

Unsolved Mysteries Volume 2

Unsolved Mysteries Vol. 2 is the only big Netflix show to be released on Monday, Oct. 19. Usually, Netflix doesn’t release new shows or movies on Mondays, so this is definitely an interesting release.

Volume 2 consists of six episodes, like Volume 1, which was released on Netflix in July 2020 and was a major hit. Each episode follows a new mystery.

We shared the episode titles below:

  • “Tsunami Spirits”
  • “Stolen Kids”
  • “Lady In The Lake”
  • “Washington Iside Murder”
  • “A Death In Oslo”
  • “Death Row Fugitive”

Friday, Oct. 16, is a great day for new movies and shows on Netflix. This phrase gets overused a lot, but there is truly something new for everyone to watch today.

The Trial of the Chicago 7 is the biggest Netflix new release of the day. Aaron Sorkin wrote and directed the Netflix movie, which seems like an early contender for the 2021 Oscars. The movie tells the story of the seven individuals charged for protest related to the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

The movie has an incredible cast with Sacha Baron Cohen, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Eddie Redmayne, Michael Keaton, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Daniel Flaherty, Frank Langella, John Carroll Lynch, Noah Robbins, Mark Rylance, Alex Sharp, and Jeremy Strong.

Check out the trailer below!

It’s not all about The Trial of the Chicago 7, though. Horror fans will want to check out La Revolution, a new horror series about the French Revolution, and Unfriended, a 2014 movie about the perils of social media and cyberbullying.

We also highly recommend The Last Kids on Earth Book 3! This series is based on the graphic novel of the same name. It’s a really good show that everyone will enjoy.

I’ll be watching Grand Army, a new teen series about a group of kids at Grand Army High School in Brooklyn. Odessa A’zion, Odley Jean, Amir Bageria, Maliq Johnson, and Amalia Yoo star in the new series. The Netflix series is based on the Slut: The Play by Katie Cappiello.
