Netflix shared the trailer for The Crown season 4! The new trailer shows a beautiful shot of Princess Diana’s famous wedding dress. The one particular shot shows the whole 25-foot train and the 153-yard tulle veil.

The Crown season 4 will be released on Netflix on Nov. 15. As we have expected, Princess Diana (Emma Corrin) will be introduced in the new season, and fans are ready for this.

Diana’s wedding dress was recreated to match the original and took 600 hours, according to a report from EW. They enlisted the original designers as consultants to be sure of the integrity of the iconic wedding dress’ look.

Corrin commented in an interview with Entertainment Weekly regarding the dress fittings:

"“It was wonderful. I actually really enjoyed the fittings for the dress. I’m really terrible at fittings, I’m the biggest fidget in the world. I think the whole sewing-tailor team hated me. But I found it fascinating because they literally had to build the wedding dress around me and it took ages. It was a very interesting process. It makes you feel incredibly ‘at one’ with the thing you’re wearing when you’re kind of sewn into it inch by inch. Yeah, it was an amazing moment.”"

Fans of the Royals can agree that Princess Diana was the sweetheart of the family. This season will show Diana and her life before she married into the British Monarchy. We know much about her after she married Prince Charles, but what about the girl she was before her life changed forever?

Obviously, the majority of the season will revolve around Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles, Erin Doherty as Princess Anne, and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret.

This season also introduces Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, played by Gillian Anderson.  Thatcher was the longest-serving British prime minister of the 20th century and the first woman in that position.

The Crown will have two more seasons after season 4, but you’ll have to wait a while to see the new season after season 4 premieres. The Crown season 5 will be released in 2022. Production will not begin on season 5 until 2021.

As the series follows large passages of time, new actors will again be introduced as the characters age. Season five will see the following casting changes, Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Phillip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana.
