I think I speak for everyone when I say that I’m ready for 2020 to end. As the year comes to an end, I thought it would be a good idea to start to look ahead at some of the best Netflix shows coming in 2021, including Stranger Things season 4 and more.

Unfortunately, it’s too difficult to know all of the Netflix shows coming in 2021, but we have a pretty good idea what to expect. The coronavirus pandemic has made it even more difficult to predict when Netflix shows will be arriving, so I had to leave a few good shows off the list.

Instead, I picked seven Netflix shows that are close to returning in 2021. There’s little doubt these Netflix shows will arrive next year.

So, let’s get the list started with The Witcher season 2!

Will there be The Witcher season 2?

The Witcher is Netflix’s biggest fantasy series, and the new season is coming to Netflix next year.

Because the first season was released at Christmastime 2019, many fans were hoping to see the new season in 2020. Unfortunately, The Witcher is one of the Netflix shows that we won’t see a new season of in 2020. And, that was never going to be the case.

The Witcher season 2 started production earlier this year, but because of the scope of the series, all the effects and CGI, this show is going to take a lot longer to film the second season than some Netflix shows.

Then, production was shut down for several months because of the coronavirus pandemic. Filming resumed in the late summer of 2020. We’re hoping The Witcher season 2 is ready for release by at least fall or winter 2021.
