Netflix certainly has you covered this month. There is something for all interests, which makes it extremely difficult to pick the five good Netflix movies to watch this month. Here are our top picks.

The Binding

First up is a foreign-language movie, and something that will get you in the spirit of Halloween. The Binding is an Italian horror movie about a woman whose faith is put to the test. When her husband starts to suffer horrific visions, she needs to uncover why it’s happening. What exactly will she find?

Rebecca

One of the most talked-about Netflix movies this month is Rebecca. The British movie tells the story of young newlyweds who arrive at the husband’s family estate. However, the new wife realizes that she’s living in the shadow of Rebecca, the man’s first wife. She died, but her legacy still lives on. Could something else still live on?

Watch Rebecca on Oct. 21.

A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting

You’ve likely read the book of the same name. Now it’s time to watch the movie. Tamara Smart, Alessio Scalzotto, Oona Laurence and Ian Ho are just some of the names connected to the movie, and it’s going to be a great family offering. The movie focuses on monsters that interrupt babysitting gigs, and the babysitters need to get together to protect the children they’re looking after and more.

You can watch the movie on Oct. 15.

Vampires vs. The Bronx

If you’re looking for a comedy but still want to be in the Halloween spirit, you can turn your attention to Vampires vs. The Bronx. This comedy horror focuses on a group of teenagers who need to work together to protect their Bronx neighborhood from, well, vampires. Can they survive the night?

Vampires vs. The Bronx is available on Oct. 2.

The Trial of the Chicago 7

We end the list with a movie that has an outstanding cast and focuses on an important topic from the past. Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are some of the great actors in this movie about a real-life trial. It focuses on the 1969 trial of seven defendants charged with conspiracy among other things.

During the 1968 Democratic National Convention, the defendants took part in countercultural protests. The trail gained worldwide coverage, dividing those watching it.
