Is Await Further Instructions actually scary?

It’s hard to imagine how one would react if they were confined to their home with no way of knowing what’s going on, with the exception of vague instructions from the televisions set.

Thankfully Netflix subscribers don’t have to ponder this mystery any longer as the 2018 exceptional British horror film Await Further Instructions paints a vivid picture of the fear, paranoia, psychological toll, and mayhem that come with such a dire situation. The truly excellent premise and pitch-perfect tension will keep audiences on the edge of their seat, guessing the entire way through its twist-filled narrative with a thought-provoking ending that will have people fearing screens a bit more than they used too.

The brilliant story of Await Further Instructions takes place during the holiday season, beginning the eventual debate as to whether or not this UK terror fest is actually a Christmas movie or not. Nick brings his girlfriend Annji to meet his family, which doesn’t go over that great, and then to add to the ordeal, they wake up to find the windows and doors are blocked by some wire-like material. The TV says to await further instructions, and when they come that when things take a turn for the worse, causing everyone to turn on each other with some pretty nasty consequences that follow. Is it aliens, a government experience, or is it something supernatural? In order to find out, Netflix subscribers will have to check out the scary flick that can only be described as an exemplary entry from the genre.
