Between cord-cutters and the never-ending parade of new series debuting on every platform under the sun, it’s completely understandable if there are a few shows you’ve missed out on. Trust, we’re all a little behind on what we want and/or should watch. But there’s always a chance to catch up. Over the last year, you might have heard about the new hit CBS series Evil, a supernatural series that’s especially perfect to get into right now.

The series centers on forensic psychologist Kristen Bouchard (Katya Herbers) as she forms an alliance with a Catholic seminarian (Mike Colter) and a technology contractor (Aasif Mandvi) with the intention to investigate alleged instances of supernatural occurrences.

Evil first premiered on CBS in September 2019 and quickly earned positive reception from critics. The first season currently holds a 91% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and it’s also become a fan-favorite series. Only a month into its airing, CBS renewed Evil for a second season, which will surely also contain 13 episodes. Evil comes from the creators of The Good Wife, which marks a creative departure, but a great one. Catch up on season 1 when it hits Netflix at the top of October.
