Netflix movies and shows: Queer Eye season 5

Season 5 of Queer Eye also came out this summer and featured 10 episodes of the guys (Antoni, Tan, Karamo, Bobby and Jonathan) helping people in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While they were in Japan last season, now they are back in the US to lend a hand.

The people featured in this season include a gay pastor who just came out in his 30s and is looking to be more confident in front of his congregation, a dog groomer trying to get her business back in gear, and a divorced dad who hides in baggy clothes and hair gel and is looking to look good for his daughter’s wedding.

They also visit an activist who spends so much time on her work that she doesn’t spend any time on herself, a mom who’s too worried about her husband’s health to take care of herself, and a fitness trainer who is ready to get his life back in order.

The also makeover a fishmonger who has dreams of opening his own restaurant and during the episode, he learns that those dreams don’t have to come between him and his family.

If you missed season 5 of Queer Eye during the summer and are looking for a pick me up after hearing so much awful news lately, this is a perfect time to watch it. The Fab Five may bring a bit of happiness to the people they visit, but their show also does that for the people watching it on Netflix too.

And, luckily, this won’t be the last season where the guys make peoples’ lives better. They have already been renewed for season 6.
