Netflix movies and shows: Unsolved Mysteries

Unsolved Mysteries was also rebooted this summer thanks to Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy and his company 23 Laps Entertainment. The show first aired in the 80s and continued into the 2000s and was clearly popular enough to bring it back on Netflix.

This season features six episodes with a different mystery per episode. The first episode follows the story of Ray Rivera who, after rushing from his home, disappears. Then, his car is found abandoned. But where did he go and what happened to him?

The second episode named “13 Minutes” features the mystery of Patrice Endres who goes missing from the salon she owned. There was only a 13-minute window when no one was around to see what happened to her.

The next episode shows the story of an aristocratic family who disappears entirely. The cops end up finding something truly awful when they look more into the case.

“No Ride Home” follows the story of Alonzo Brooks who disappeared after leaving a party. His body is eventually found, but who killed him?

The fifth episode in the season is possibly the weirdest as it features Berkshire County and the people who have all experienced a sighting of a UFO on one night in 1969. This episode is worth watching on its one

The final episode follows Lena Chapin who says, on tape, that her mother killed her stepfather, but when she is subpoenaed to testify, she goes missing.

If you’re looking for some real-life mysteries and missed the show when it came out in July 2020, now’s the time to watch (especially, the alien one).
