Netflix movies and shows: Lucifer season 5, part 1
If you’re a Lucifer fan, chances are there’s no way you missed the first part of season 5 when it came on Netflix, but if you did, what better time than now to start watching? This part of season 5 consists of 8 episodes and starts two months after Lucifer returned to Hell.
While Lucifer’s friends may at first have been lost without him, they soon adapt. Chloe and Maze have teamed up to solve a murder and are hanging out to fill the void that Lucifer and Eve leaving caused. But their relationship is tenuous at best.
Additionally, with Lucifer gone, Amenadiel is now in charge of Lux and tries to make the club a little “cleaner” and not so…devilish. His first task is to go after a drug dealer.
In the meantime, over 1,000 years have passed in Hell and Lucifer visits the victim of the crime Chloe and Maze are trying to solve. When he finds out the murder happened in Los Angeles, he knows he must try to find who did it. He ends up saving the day and Chloe’s life, but that doesn’t get him out of Hell. At least not yet.
Lucifer does eventually come back to Los Angeles and continues to help Chloe solve crimes, but he doesn’t seem like himself. While normally, Lucifer brings out people’s deepest desires, this new Lucifer brings out their fears. Overall, he just seems different. And when Maze confronts him on his behavior, it turns out there is a shocking reason for those changes.
Lucifer is one of the most popular shows on Netflix and if you missed it this summer, why not check it out during the fall? It’s a great, fun but spooky show!
