10 Netflix shows that could be canceled later this year

Netflix releases a ton of new shows every year. Unfortunately, that means not all Netflix shows have extended runs at the streaming network.

Netflix gets a bit of a bad reputation when it comes to canceling shows. The streaming network does cancel a lot of shows, but when they’re cranking out hundreds of new shows and movies every year, the costs add up.

Normally, Netflix waits about two months to announce renewals and cancellations. Sometimes, we have to wait a lot longer to find out the fate of our favorite Netflix shows.

That’s what this list is for. We’ve tracked all the Netflix shows released this year so far, and we shared 10 of the Netflix shows yet to be renewed or canceled.

Let’s get the list started with Narcos: Mexico. 

Netflix shows: Narcos: Mexico

Narcos: Mexico is one of the best shows on Netflix. Diego Luna is a huge star, and he’s so good in the show’s lead role.

Narcos: Mexico season 2 premiered on Netflix in February 2020. Since then, we haven’t heard anything about Narcos: Mexico season 3. That’s really not a good sign.

While I’m still not convinced season 3 isn’t in the works behind the scenes at Netlfix, we usually know by now if a show has been renewed for if it’s been canceled. Netflix usually announces a month or two after the release to announce a renewal or cancellation.

The longer this plays out without an official renewal, the less likely it is that Narcos: Mexico will be renewed for season 3 at Netflix.
