Enola Holmes starring Milly Bobby Brown is coming to Netflix tonight

The game is afoot. Enola Holmes will be on Netflix tonight.

Starring Milly Bobby Brown as the titular character, we’ll head off on a new Holmes adventure as of 3:01 a.m. ET. Those on the west coast are waiting until midnight. It’s not that long.

It’s certainly been worth the wait. Not only do we have Stranger Things‘s Brown as Enola, but Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin will play Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes.

Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of Sherlock and Mycroft’s little sister. It doesn’t seem like they see much of her normally, and it’s only because of a case that she needs their help.

What is Enola Holmes about?

Enola (that’s ‘alone’ spelled backwards, but she’s definitely not ‘alone’) wakes one morning to find her mother missing. It’s her mother, played by the excellent Helena Bonham Carter, who has raised Enola to be a wild, young thing.

Not quite suitable for society, Enola realizes that she’s going to have to fit in for the case. However, that’s only to keep her brothers off her back who clearly aren’t too impressed with her following her heart and not what people dictate she should be.

Along the journey to find her mother, Enola comes across a young lord who is trying to run away from home. He doesn’t exactly want to die on a train, so he may realize that Enola probably isn’t the one he wants to hang around. Well, he probably would if it wasn’t for a man that seems to be after him. Now he’s going to need Enola’s help to get to safety…or has he just ended up in the middle of a plot to get Enola?

There’s not long to wait to find out. Enola Holmes is on Netflix tonight.
