Now that The Devil All the Time is out on Netflix, you can see Tom Holland in his role as Arvin Russell.

As reported by IndieWire, the film is set between the end of World War II and the beginning of the Vietnam War. Using non-linear storytelling, the film follows the lives of various people who are struggling, both directly and indirectly, with illness, violence, and greed.

In The Devil All the Time, Tom Holland plays a young man named Arvin Russell. After the tragic death of his parents, Arvin is sent to live with his paternal grandmother in Coal Creek, West Virginia. Haunted by the lessons his father taught him, he struggles to find his own path in life.

Over the course of the film, his story collides with that of several other characters, culminating in a series of events that have been manifesting since before Arvin was born.

As of right now, The Devil All the Time is unfortunately the only movie available on Netflix in which Holland appears. The actor gives a stellar performance in the psychological thriller, so it’s only natural to want to explore his filmography after seeing the new hit. It’s the only solemn role I’ve ever seen him take on and he really hit it out of the park!
