Can’t get enough of The Umbrella Academy‘s Robert Sheehan? Don’t worry, because as it turns out, we’re getting much more from the talented Irish actor and his lovely accent than we initially bargained for at the start of 2020.
Following the project’s initial release in 2016, The Bigger Picture has officially been re-released through Paradox House on YouTube, reports Nerds and Beyond. If you missed it (or never heard about it) the first time around, now’s your chance to see Sheehan in a whole other role.
Netflix fans will know 32-year-old Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves in The Umbrella Academy, an eccentric character with a wild sense of humor and awesome clap-backs. However, it looks like his role in The Bigger Picture is much different than the way we’re used to seeing him.
Directed by Merlin Morten and Greer Ellison, the short film stars Robert Sheehan and Outlander’s Rosie Day. This re-release definitely has “must-see” written all over it. In the short film’s description, Paradox House describes the plot as follows:
"A single moment in time. A guy and a girl, recently split up from a long-term relationship get back together for one night. But love and loathing form a precarious mix for these young lovers as they navigate the rough terrain of life."
Love can be messy, that’s for sure. However, while this classic tale of lovers, loss, and longing in modern times might be a quick watch, it’s also a pretty heavy one, definitely meant for a more mature audience.
So when you’re ready for it, watch Robert Sheehan and Rosie Day steam up the screen in The Bigger Picture, streamable in the video below.
