Are more seasons of Married at First Sight coming to Netflix?

Fans of Married at First Sight will notice that there’s currently only one season of the hit reality series on Netflix. Season 9, which showcases couples from Charlotte, NC, is the sole season available. There are 11 seasons in total, so people are wondering if they’ll be able to watch more episodes on Netflix anytime soon.

Will more seasons of Married at First Sight be added to Netflix?

We were unable to obtain information about more seasons coming to Netflix. At this point, it doesn’t look like any other season of the show will be added to the streaming platform.

However, fans of the reality series will be pleased to know that the show is getting a spin-off that will premiere on Lifetime. The series is called Married at First Sight: Unmatchables and will feature people who have unsuccessfully applied to the show in the past.

Here is what the Gena McCarthy, the Executive Vice President of Development and Programming for Lifetime Unscripted, told Deadline about Unmatchables:

"Married at First Sight: Unmatchables is an exciting new member of our Married at First Sight family. Each season we see so many amazing, complex and charming people that apply for the main show, but we simply can’t match everyone. Unmatchables allows these people a shot at love following our expert- led interventions and transformations."

I don’t think I would want to participate in a show that deems me “unmatchable,” but to each their own! The fact that the contestants participating in Unmatchables couldn’t be used in the original series means that this show will be packed full of new drama and we can’t wait to check it out. Hopefully it’ll be added soon after it premieres.
