Last month had us all excited with the release of Lucifer season 5. We were quick to binge-watch all the new episodes of season 5, part 1. The final season of The Rain was also exciting to watch, and Immigration Nation was an eye-opener.

On Sept. 4, tune in to watch Hilary Swank in Away, a new series from Netflix that is sure to send you an emotional and thrilling ride.

Away follows American astronaut Emma Green (Swank) as she prepares to lead a crew on the first mission trip to Mars. She’ll be leaving behind a husband (Josh Charles) and daughter (Talitha Bateman), which eventually takes a toll on her.

Julie and the Phantoms season 1

Julie (Madison Reyes) used to love music, but her passion died after the tragic passing of her mother. However, just like the ghosts of Christmas past, Julie is visited by three musicians who bring life and the passion of music back into her heart.

The Duchess season 1

On Sept. 11, watch The Duchess on Netflix for some laughs. The comedy-drama follows Katherine, a woman who’s struggling to succeed in her career while raising her daughter.

Katherine is also in a new relationship and wants another baby, but not with her current boyfriend — but with her ex. I know, Katherine is a mess, but it’s a mess you want to watch and can’t get enough of!

Ratched season 1

Ryan Murphy’s Ratched premieres on Netflix on Sept. 18. The suspenseful drama follows asylum nurse Mildred Ratched. The year is 1947, and Nurse Ratched has just landed a job where she appears to be the perfect candidate, but her wickedness slowly begins to unravel.

The story is inspired by the character of the same name in the novel “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” by Evan Romansky.
