5 biggest questions we have after Lucifer season 5, part 1

Lucifer season 5, part 1 delivers many surprises and lots of emotions, and it leaves us with many questions!

Spoiler warning! If you have finished binging all the episodes, read on! Otherwise, please note there are big spoilers ahead.

The wait for Lucifer season 5 was well worth it! Season 5, part 1 was very well done and full of pleasant surprises! If part 1 is any indication of what’s to come in part 2, we’re in for even more greatness.

From Dr. Linda’s secret daughter to God’s (yes, the God) appearance, there are new mysteries we need answers to. Needless to say, we can’t wait to dive into part 2 so we can get some answers and learn more about these characters after such a huge cliffhanger.

Below, we shared the five biggest questions we have after watching part 1.

5. Will Eve return in Lucifer season 5, part 2?

Eve was dearly missed by Maze and Lucifans in season 5, part 1. It has already been confirmed that she is part of this season, so we are expecting to see her in part 2. That is, unless COVID-19 and the surprising season 6 renewal has changed plans and moved Eve’s return to season 6.

We’re hoping not, we want to see Eve return in part 2 and reunite with Mazikeen, who desperately needs someone on her team.

4. Will Linda ever reunite with her daughter?

Speaking of reunions, we understand Linda’s hesitation not wanting to introduce herself to her daughter. However, we would love to see Linda’s daughter join the family! Linda needs closure, closure that Maze wasn’t able to get after her mother unexpectedly dies.

3. How will Maze redeem herself?

Our girl is in a bad place, and we’re not talking about Hell. No one seems to appreciate Maze and give her the love she needs and deserves!

Lucifer is too blunt and inconsiderate. Maze is more than just a demon, she’s worthy of a soul. I don’t agree with Maze teaming up with Michael to fight Lucifer and Amenadiel, but I do understand how she must’ve felt during that time.

She wants a soul and Michael promised her one, what is she supposed to do? Still, she does need to make it up to Lucifer and Amenadiel. I’m sure they’ll forgive her.

2. Why hasn’t Lucifer said “I love you” to Chloe?

It’s obvious Lucifer is in love with Chloe, she is the most important person in the world to him. But then why hasn’t he said those three simple words? There’s definitely a reason for it, and Lucifer was going to explain (he even calls her by her first name!) but was interrupted by Amenadiel freezing time and Michael’s evil plans.

1. What will God do to Lucifer, Michael, and Amenadiel?

What a midseason finale! Right in the middle of Lucifer and Amenadiel vs Maze and Michael, God appears before them and orders them to stop. He’s angry, but he looks so gentle and patient.

Dennis Haysbert is the perfect actor to take on the role of God. His voice is so soothing. But with all the things his children have done, he can’t be too pleased about the situation. I’m very curious to see how God will be portrayed.
