Is Lovecraft Country on Netflix? Where you can stream the new TV series

Lovecraft Country premieres on Sunday, Aug. 16. This is going to be the biggest show of the summer, and would-be viewers around the world are wondering when and where to stream the new series.

Unfortunately, Lovecraft Country will not on Netflix. While Netflix makes great TV shows, Lovecraft Country is an HBO original series. Accordingly, you will be able to watch Lovecraft Country on HBO (TV) or HBO Max (streaming).

Lovecraft Country will be available to stream on HBO Max at 9 pm ET or 6 pm PT.

It’s possible that Lovecraft Country will be added to Netflix DVD a few months after the season finishes. I’m guessing that’s probably too long for you to wait and probably not exactly how you’re looking to watch the new series. We’ll let you know more about that in the future, though.

Lovecraft Country has an incredible cast, including Jurnee Smollett, Jonathan Majors, Aunjanue Ellis, Abbey Lee, Jada Harris, Wunmi Mosaku, and Michael K. Williams.

The series is based on the novel of the same name by Matt Ruff. It tells the story of Atticus Freeman (Majors) and Leti Lewis (Smollett) as they travel across the country in the 1950s in search of Freeman’s missing father.

Jordan Peele and JJ Abrams are executive producers on the series, along with Green, Ben Stephenson, and Bill Carraro.

The first season consists of 10 episodes. Each episode will be released weekly on Sunday nights through Oct. 18.
