Birds of Prey starring Margot Robbie is coming to HBO Max on August 15

Grab the girls (for a safe, remote watch-party) or enjoy a solo movie-night in, Birds of Prey is coming to HBO Max at midnight ET on Saturday, Aug. 15.

The new movie will be added to HBO Max at midnight PT, so if you stay up late on Friday night, you can start your Birds of Prey watch party!

It’s no secret that the year 2020 has been a rough one. In fact, I would say that’s an understatement! This has been one challenging year! Parents have become homeschool teachers, most people are out of jobs or working from home, and the world of entertainment is on pause.

Streaming services, such as the recently launched HBO Max, is here for us, though! We may be biased and have a soft spot for Netflix, but we would be lying if we didn’t say HBO has some amazing movies.

After movies leave theaters, streaming services fight for rights to stream some of the biggest features, and Birds of Prey was quickly claimed by HBO. With HBO Max being fairly new, this is a fantastic first big feature to stream.

When can you stream Birds of Prey on HBO Max?

Birds of Prey, starring Margot Robbie, is the latest DC Universe film. Fans were really divided about this movie. Some absolutely loved it, others not so much! Those who are with me and truly enjoyed this movie, though, can agree that it packs a punch when it comes to empowerment.

If you need a self-esteem boost and motivation, you’ll definitely want to watch Birds of Prey. And if you missed the movie in theaters? You can stream it risk-free!

What’s next for the DC Universe? So much! We’re still not sure when Wonder Woman 1984 will release (or if it will arrive in theaters or a streaming service like Mulan), but we hope it gets the big-screen debut it deserves.

Then, we’ll see Harley Quinn again in The Suicide Squad sometime in 2021. There’s also Robert Pattinson’s The Batman in 2021, and The Flash, Shazam! 2, and Aquaman 2, all in 2022.

Which movie are you most excited to see?

Since Birds of Prey landed on HBO Max, it’s a good guess to say the other movies will, too.
