You can watch Ant-Man and the Wasp tonight on Disney Plus

If you haven’t had the chance to see the Ant-Man sequel, there’s no excuse anymore. Ant-Man and the Wasp is heading to Disney Plus tonight.

There’s not long to wait now. The second movie starring Paul Rudd in the lead is heading to Disney Plus at midnight PT on Friday, Aug. 14. That means those on the east coast are waiting until 3 a.m. ET. It’s perfect for those looking for a movie to binge at the weekend.

Ant-Man and the Wasp had been removed from Netflix last month and we knew it was to get ready for a Disney Plus release. We almost have all the Marvel movies now available to binge-watch in order on the one service.

What is Ant-Man and the Wasp about?

In this sequel, Rudd returns as Ant-Man, a Marvel superhero who can turn himself into a tiny, ant-sized man. He can also turn himself into a giant man as seen in Captain America: Civil War.

This movie sees what the life of a superhero can do to someone’s home life. We see Ant-Man struggle with life as a dad and a husband while he tries to save the world. That’s made all the more complicated when he’s needed for a new mission: save Dr. Hank Pym.

It all picks up with Pym and Hope van Dyne coming to Scott Lang for help. The two have opened a portal to the quantum realm where Hank’s wife and Hope’s mom, Janet van Dyne may be trapped. Ant-Man, who is under house arrest, is needed to help get Janet free.

It turns out Hope is The Wasp, another Marvel superhero. Hope wants nothing more to save her mom and is even willing to kidnap Scott to make it possible.

It’s a lighthearted superhero movie. This one is done for the comedy rather than the serious action, which is often needed in a bigger franchise.
