A list of good Netflix movies to watch if you’re a fan of The Lost Husband

The Lost Husband is the most popular movie on Netflix right now! The hit romantic movie just jumped The Umbrella Academy, and now, the movie, directed by Vicky Wright and starring Leslie Bibb and Josh Duhamel, is the most popular title – movie or show! – on Netflix right now.

That’s a big deal! Unfortunately, the movie is only like two hours long, so you’re probably going to need something to watch after watching The Lost Husband

To help you find your next Netflix movie, we shared a list of five good Netflix movies to watch if you liked the movie.

All the movies on the list are romantic movies, and they’ll all pull at the heartstrings. Oh, and it should be no surprise that three of the titles on this list are based on books by Nicholas Sparks!

Netflix movies like The Lost Husband

1. Nights in Rodanthe

Nights in Rodanthe is based on the book of the same name by Nicholas Sparks. Richard Gere and Diane Lane star in the film.

In the movie, Adrienne (Lane) is taking care of an Inn in Rodanthe for a friend while getting out of a bad relationship. There, she meets Paul, the only guest at the inn. They come together to protect the inn when a storm rolls through the town.

Overall, the movie received mixed reviews from critics, but it’s a fan favorite.

2. A Walk to Remember

A Walk to Remember is another movie based on the book of the same name by Nicholas Sparks. Shane West, Mandy Moore, Peter Coyote and Daryl Hannah star in the movie.

In A Walk to Remember, Landon (West), after getting into some trouble, is forced to participate in a school play, where her gets to know Jamie (Moore) a lot better. The pair fall in love.

3. Dear John

Dear John is, yet again, another movie based on a book by Nicholas Sparks. The movie stars Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum.

The movies follows the love story of John (Tatum) and Savannah (Seyfried). John, however, leaves for Afghanistan, and while Savannah writes to him, ie “Dear John,” she begins to have feelings for someone else.

4. Remember Me

Robert Pattinson in a romantic drama is all many fans will need to know about this movie. The former Twilight star and new Batman stars in Remember Me along with Emilie de Ravin, Lena Olin, Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper and more.

The movie follows the budding relationship between Tyler (Pattinson) and Ally (de Ravin), two young adults living in New York City.

The ending caused a lot of controversy, and you’ll see why if you watch the movie. It resonated with some viewers, but it was a little too problematic for me.

5. Irreplaceable You

Irreplaceable You is a Netflix original movie starring Gugu Mbathe-Raw and Michiel Huisman.

The movie tells the story of Abbie and Sam, a couple engaged to be married. Abbie is diagnosed with terminal cancer and tries to come to terms with the diagnosis and their future.

This movie is tough to watch, but it’s good. Mbathe-Raw and Huisman are outstanding. I would watch any movie or show they’re in.

There are a ton of other popular romantic movies available to stream on Netflix right now, including The Notebook, Set It Up, The Kissing Booth and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.
