Lucifer season 5 premieres on Netflix on Aug. 21. While fans are excited to binge-watch the new season of the series on Netflix, those episodes are going to fly by! It’s going to be a quick binge-watch because there are only eight episodes in the first half of the season.

While you wait for season 5 or while you wait for the rest of the season 5 episodes, you’re going need some new Netflix shows to watch. So, we shared a list of good Netflix shows to watch if you like Lucifer.

There are few shows like Lucifer. It’s basically a supernatural/fantasy procedural, but that’s a really limited description. Lucifer is so much more than that. It defies the genre in a way.

So, I tried to pick other shows that do that, too. Almost all of the shows on this list have a supernatural or fantasy elements, and some of them include some serious sleuthing that Chloe and Lucifer would be proud of.

Netflix shows like Lucifer: 1. Supernatural

I feel like Supernatural and Lucifer are a natural pair. The shows are so different, but they deal with many similar themes.

Supernatural, which comes to an end later this fall, follows the Winchester brothers, Dean and Sam, played by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki. The pair travel around the country hunting monsters, demons and the like.

The series has been on the air for 15 seasons! 15 seasons! And, the first 14 seasons are streaming on Netflix right now. The last season of Supernatural is coming to Netflix this fall.

Netflix shows like Lucifer: 2. The Order

The Order is another Netflix series that sort of defies genre, but it has elements of all these different types of shows all mashed up into one glorious series. I love it! It’s funny and dramatic and full of mystery, but most importantly, it has all those fantasy and supernatural elements that we love, too.

The series focuses on Jack, played Jake Manley, who is a first-year student at Belgrave University. There, he joins a magical secret society and also gets caught up with another organization, one that likes to howl at the moon.

There are two seasons of The Order on Netflix now, and we’re hoping the show is coming back for a third season!
