All American season 3 could start filming this fall

All American season 3 production could start in September or October

All American is one of the most popular TV shows on Netflix, and of course, fans are waiting for any and all news about All American season 3, the upcoming season of the hit series on The CW.

According to a recent Popculture.com interview with All American star Taye Diggs, All American season 3 will start filming in September or October.

It doesn’t sound like an official production start date has been set for the third season.

Production restarting will all come down to the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and the agreement between the studios, production companies and various unions involved. If it’s not safe to film, All American season 3 will not start production. It’s as simple as that.

All American season 3 delayed on The CW

All American season 3 has already been delayed until the midseason. Normally, we’d already be expecting to see trailers, synopsis and cast information for the new season, which would be premiering in October.

The season is expected to be 16 episodes, although we’d prefer a full 22-episode season like other popular CW shows.

Earlier this year, though, The CW announced that All American season 3 and all the new seasons of the usual fall shows will be pushed back until January 2021 because of the pandemic. That should give the shows enough time to get started on production for the upcoming season. For that to happen, the shows should have to start filming by October or November to make that happen.

Unlike some CW shows that film in Vancouver where the spread of the virus is more contained, All American films in Los Angeles. That could cause a situation where All American season 3 is delayed while other CW shows that are filmed in Vancouver, like Riverdale, The Flash, and more, could come back in January.

We’re hoping that’s not the case. Hopefully, All American will be able to get production underway soon and season 3 will premiere in January 2021.

Unfortunately, All American season 3 will not be added to Netflix in January 2021. Instead, we’ll have to wait until at least June and maybe even longer to see the new season on Netflix.

Season 3 will be added to Netflix eight days after the season finale on Netflix.
