Best Lucifer episodes: 2. Save Lucifer
Season 4, Episode 9
This episode sends viewers and the Devil guy on a soul-searching journey. He doesn’t know why he is changing. He is slowly changing into full Devil, evil wings and all, and he’s afraid there’s no going back. Dr. Linda tells Luci that he needs to forgive himself, but that’s easier said than not.
According to Luci, he just needs to tell himself that all is good and he forgives himself. Little does he know, he has to actually believe it, which he doesn’t.
Chloe tries to not be alarmed by his Devil face. She truly does accept him, but she does need to adjust to what is going on. Another thing to love about this episode is the bond between Maze and Eve! Maze is so protective of Eve, yet the latter is a bit oblivious about things.
Best Lucifer episodes: 1. Who’s da New King of Hell
Season 4, Episode 10
What. A. Finale! Season 4, Episode 10, “Who’s da New King of Hell?,” really keeps us on the edge of our seat! Demons have been released from Hell, unintentionally done by Eve. And with Lucifer now on Earth, the demons have lost respect for their king and have instead claimed Charlie, Linda and Amenadiel’s baby boy, as their new ruler.
Luci, Amenadiel, Maze, Chloe, and Eve race to save Charlie. Ultimately, the demons are not going anywhere without a ruler, so once Lucifer sends them back, he decides to follow along and head back to Hell.
Chloe and Lucifer have a heartbreaking goodbye, with Chloe telling him that she loves him. Lucifer tells Chloe that his first love was never Eve but that it’s always been Chloe.
Mr. Morningstar isn’t the only one we have to say goodbye to, as Eve leaves for some soul-searching herself. This breaks Maze’s heart as she was truly falling for Eve. It’s so sad how Maze always ends up alone. I hope season 5 brings her some happiness.
