Michel seems to have gotten bitten by the acting bug at a young age, landing his first credited role coming via 2006’s O Ano em Que Meus Pais Saíram de Férias which translates to The Year My Parents Went on Vacation. The role helped Michel break into the industry and earned him a slew of nominations for his performance as the film’s lead character.

In the years that passed, Michel pivoted from film to television appearing in a handful of Brazilian series including the crime drama Rotas do Ódio, musical comedy Julie and the Phantoms, and miniseries A Menina Sem Qualidades. However, his longest-tenured role was as Henrique Schneider in the long-running Brazilian teen soap Young Hearts, appearing in 144 episodes from 2014-2015.
