Bingeable Netflix shows: Lucifer
Got an eternity of free time on your hands? How about spending it with the Devil?
Odds are if you’re a Netflix fan you’ve probably heard of a show called Lucifer. Based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Lucifer is the story of the Devil himself, Lucifer Morningstar, who leaves Hell behind to settle into sunny Los Angeles. He’s looking for a change of pace, and soon he finds a job with the LAPD and he even finds himself a trusted therapist to help him sort through his issues.
The show, which originally debuted on FOX, was about to be shipped off to the boneyard when a worldwide effort saw fans clamoring to save their favorite show. After three seasons and a massive season 3 cliffhanger, the show deserved better. Netflix flew in like an avenging angel and saved the day, granting a final fourth season to eager fans.
Well, season 4 was such a hit the streamer gave the show a fifth and finale season…and now that the first half of season 5 is set to debut in August, Netflix has given the go-ahead to season 6.
Now is the perfect time to get into Lucifer if you haven’t watched it already. You have four seasons and 67 episodes to enjoy.
