Lucifer season 5 spoilers: How will Chloe react to Lucifer’s return?

Considering he left her heartbroken at the end of season 4 with his decision to return to Hell, the biggest burning question for Lucifans has been how Chloe will react to Lucifer’s return. While we’ll have to wait to see just what Chloe has to say upon Lucifer’s return, her first instinct after seeing him back was to embrace him and share a romantic kiss. In other words, she seems more than happy to have Lucifer back in her life.

What will be interesting to see is whether his decision causes a rift of any kind between the two or whether it might serve as a catalyst for them to stop beating around the bush by becoming a formal couple. Considering Chloe is seen discussing Lucifer’s return with Linda during a session in her office, it seems she understandably has some things to work through.

Lucifer season 5 spoilers: Do Chloe and Lucifer get together?

This question is a bit tricky thanks to the introduction of Lucifer’s twin brother, making it difficult to clearly identify whether we’re looking at Lucifer or his imposter of a brother in the various scenes. While the initial Deckerstar kiss seems to have been between Chloe and Michael, an extended version of the trailer released via Netflix Asia seems to confirm that the passionate encounter later in the trailer is indeed between Lucifer and Chloe.

While there might be more obstacles in their way than anticipated thanks to Michael, it seems Lucifer and Chloe will indeed get together in season 5.

Lucifer season 5 spoilers: How will Lucifer react to Michael stealing his life?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but don’t expect Lucifer to be flattered in any way by Michael effectively stealing his life and pretending to be Lucifer. As teased briefly towards the closing moments of the trailer, Lucifer and Michael will come to blows in Lucifer’s penthouse following his formal return from Hell.

What might be more interesting to see is what trouble Michael might get into before Lucifer’s return or the size of the mess he’ll be left to clean up. One thing is certain, we don’t expect this brotherly duo to be thrilled to see one another when the time comes for their impending reunion.
