Right now, sports fans are more than likely missing their weekly, or even daily, dose of live sports on TV. Even though it could be a while before sporting events return to business as usual, Netflix has a little something tide over those starving for some sports. This July, Netflix debuts ESPN’s The Last Dance, a documentary miniseries tracking the career and final season of basketball legend Michael Jordan.

The series boasts exclusive all-access footage of the Chicago Bulls and interviews from the likes of Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Steve Kerr, Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant, Barack Obama, Jordan himself and many, many others.

The Last Dance originally aired on ESPN beginning in April 2019 and on Netflix internationally one day after their televised airings. The miniseries garnered critical acclaim, holding a near-perfect 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. On top of its acclaim, The Last Dance also grabbed high ratings and tied for fifth overall with This Is Us in the 2019-2020 television season. The season consists of 10 almost hourlong episodes that are essential viewing for both basketball and sports fans alike. Make sure not to miss the miniseries when it comes to Netflix on July 19.
