Lucifer and Chloe reunited

Obviously the first thing we all want to see is Lucifer and Chloe reunited. I know we’re going to have to be patient and the writers are going to put us through the wringer the first few episodes. The moments they’re separated are going to be so angsty and I’m mentally preparing myself for the emotional turmoil.

But I’m sure it’s going to be worth the wait and the very talented writers of Lucifer won’t disappoint. So far, though unfortunately there haven’t been as many romantic scenes as we’d like, the ones we’ve seen in the last four seasons have been written really well and pulled on our heartstrings. It’s going to take some time, but I know we’ll get there Lucifans.

Of course, the showrunners haven’t confirmed that these two will be together again, but come on. They have to reunite them. There’s just no way they won’t.

And it seems co-showrunner Joe Henderson agrees based off what he told TVLine:

"We can’t say much, but know that Ildy [Modrovich] and I are Deckerstar fans ourselves, so we asked ourselves – for the final season, what do we want to see happen between Lucifer and Chloe? What haven’t we explored or explained yet? And we’ve tried to get all of that in Season 5."

I don’t know about you, but that sounds very promising to me. I’d really like to see Chloe figure out a way to bring Lucifer back to Earth. We’ve seen Lucifer fight for and protect Chloe so many times, many of them she wasn’t even aware of.

We know she’s good at research when she helped Father Kinley in season 4. After all the lengths Lucifer has gone through for Chloe, I hope we get to see her do the same for him. No one is going to be more motivated than our clever detective to get her devil back.
