The Kissing Booth 2 is coming to Netflix in one month

We’re officially one month away from the premiere of The Kissing Booth 2 on Netflix!

The sequel to the hit Netflix movie, The Kissing Booth, is coming to Netflix on Friday, July 24. The release date for the film was announced at the end of May. Star Joey King shared the news with fans in an hour-long video chat on YouTube where she did a puzzle of The Kissing Booth 2 poster, which then revealed the release date.

We still haven’t seen the trailer for The Kissing Booth 2, but that should be shared shortly! Netflix did share the first look at the new movie recently.

The Kissing Booth 2 is introducing a little more drama for our main characters, Elle and Noah. Elle is finishing high school in California while Noah is moving off to Harvard for his freshman year. Will they be able to make the long-distance relationship work?

We’ll have to wait and see in the sequel!

For those who don’t know, the Netflix movie series is based on the books of the same name by Beth Reekles. The first movie premiered on Netflix in 2018, and it was a huge success, along with Set It Up, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and other good Netfix originals rom-coms from that summer.

Joey King, Jacob Elordi, Joel Courtney and Molly Ringwald are all back for the sequel, along with Meganne Young, who plays Lee’s girlfriend, Rachel. We’re also going to meeting a few new characters in The Kissing Booth 2, played Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Perez. They’ll play new friends of Noah and Elle and their possible love interests. They’re dating long-distance, remember?

We know you still have quite a while to wait until the new movie comes out on Netflix, but there are a bunch of other good Netflix movies and shows coming in July, as well, including new seasons of The Umbrella Academy, The Baby-Sitters Club, Cursed, Shameless, and more!
