The Politician season 2

The first season of The Politician ended with a surprise, and fans have been eager to watch the second season. Well, the wait is over, and you can head over to Netflix now and watch season 2 in its entirety.

The second season picks up three years after Payton Hobart (Ben Platt) is elected student body president of his Santa Barbara high school. Hobart is now seeking the state senate seat away from Dede Standish (Judith Light) and her right-hand gal Hadassah Gold (Bette Midler).

During our current state of politics, it is nice to have an escape from reality and enjoy a comedic look at politics and all those involved.

Floor is Lava

All those years that everyone played the floor is lava as kids is paying off for some people. Floor Is Lava, a new Netflix original game show, is precisely what it sounds like. It’s an adult version of the iconic “the floor is lava” game that has been played for many generations in the comfort of our homes.

This new game show concept takes the childhood game and kicks it up a notch. An intense obstacle course is set up and includes but is not limited to large houses with couches, chairs, tables, curtains, etc. The floor is actually a liquid looking lava.

Needless to say, this isn’t your mother’s living room. The objects are moving, and you must swing across objects, and all the while, the liquid “lava” is spewing about trying to make you fall off. Competitors must maneuver through the course without touching the lava floor.

The show is hosted by Top Gear’s Rutledge Wood, and the first season is available now to watch on Netflix.
