Space Force is now available on Netflix, and if you have managed to binge-watch the entire season already, which is not hard, then you are probably asking the same questions we are: Is Space Force season 2 happening? If so, when is Space Force season 2 coming to Netflix?

The Netflix original workplace comedy from Greg Daniels and Steve Carell had some mixed reviews from critics. Overall, I didn’t think it was bad. I’ve certainly seen better comedies, but it’s not as bad as some critics have been making out to be.

I think the negative reviews stem from the fact it’s not The Office. Everyone knows Daniels and Carell from NBC’s hit series, and if you were expecting it to be another version of The Office you were going to be disappointed.

Overall, it’s a decent Netflix original with plenty of satirical moments. It also has plenty of emotional moments, as well, giving it a well-rounded story.  And most importantly, it’s worthy of another season.

Will Space Force season 2 get a renewal?

Netflix still needs to give the green light for Space Force season 2. At the time of publishing, the streaming network had yet to decide the series fate. Despite the negative reviews, it is a solid bet the series will get the go-ahead for season 2.

The series checks all the boxes for a Netflix renewal. Most importantly, it appears enough viewers are tuning and becoming fans, which makes another season worth it for Netflix. Along with that, the series has an incredible creative team and cast. That’s really important because the show has enough big names to attract more viewers as time goes on.

And, on top of that, the story ends in a place that sets up another season. There’s a clear direction this story is moving.

Space Force season 2 release date on Netflix: Prediction

The tricky thing is predicting when it will be ready to be released. With everything going on in the world right now due to the global pandemic, filming is likely to take longer than usual. Filming studios were shut down several months now, and not all studios have gone back to work yet.

Because of that, it’s going to be at least 2021 until Space Force season 2 comes to Netflix, but it may be longer. We might have to wait until 2022. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it and we just need to wait and see what happens.

For now, expect to see Space Force season 2 sometime in 2021, and we’ll be sure to let you know more when we find out.
