Entitled “Childrick of Mort,” the ninth episode of the season seems primed to draw inspiration from and poke fun at the 2006 Sci-Fi thriller Children of Men. Considering the film’s focus around efforts to protect the last pregnant woman on a planet where women have all somehow become infertile, we’re likely to see Rick and Morty put their own spin on the story which is sure to lead to quite the memorable episode.

In typical fashion for the show, the official synopsis for Rick and Morty season 4, episode 9 keeps things on the simple side; however, this week’s synopsis does offer up a bit more information than usual. As the synopsis reveals, “Rick, Morty, Beth, Summer, and Jerry share a galactic adventure,” which is quite exciting as it’s always fun when Morty and Rick are joined by the rest of the family for a good old fashion family adventure.

Considering Jerry will be tagging along, we can only assume he’ll likely cause some sort of mishap along the way leaving the rest of the family to once again clean up his mess.
