Netflix just shared the 13 Reasons Why season 4 trailer, and there’s a lot to break down!

The final season of 13 Reasons Why is coming to Netflix on Friday, June 5.

Netflix surprised fans with an early-ish release date for 13 Reasons Why season 4. We were expecting to see the final season in the fall, but it’s arriving in late spring, and that’s great news for fans of the popular Netflix original series.

In the trailer, it appears Clay and the rest of main characters are still dealing with the fallout of what happened at the end of season 3, including Bryce Walker’s death, Monty’s death, and Bryce’s death being pinned on Monty.

It appears some people may know what actually happened, and they want the truth to be revealed.

Netflix also shared the synopsis for season 4:

"As Liberty High School’s class prepares for graduation, they are forced to make life-changing and heartbreaking choices about how their past will impact their future."

It will be really interesting to see where the final season takes us. Obviously, the writers pretty much chose the season’s path when Winston confronted Ani at the end of season 3. He was Monty’s alibi, but he remained silent for some reason. Will he stay silent much longer? We’ll have to see.

Of course, the trailer makes it seem like Winston is behind spray-painting “Monty was framed” on the school doors. But, we don’t know that to be true yet. There’s usually something more going on with shows like this. We’ll find out soon enough what Winston is up to.

The trailer, notably, focused on Clay and his secrets and how keeping those secrets is eating him up inside. Will he be able to continue down this path, or will the guilt cause him to make some drastic decisions?

We also have the guns that Clay and the gang disposed of earlier in the series. Those guns were discovered, and they might lead back to them.

It will be very interesting to see how the series ends. Clearly, these characters have made some awful choices over the course of four seasons. Can they be redeemed? Will their mistakes and choices be forgiven?
