9. Bret Weston Wallis

Bret Weston Wallis was a prime suspect. We saw his stash of videotapes from earlier in the season, and he filmed a sex tape of Betty and Jughead. It seems likely that he would do something like this to torment people.

Clearly, though, Bret is no longer a suspect. I think his stash of tapes was to hang over people’s heads and blackmail them for his own personal gain. This voyeur is much more insidious. Bret’s actions don’t point to him being the voyeur.

8. Ethel Muggs

Ethel is also, now, a suspect because of her activity with the AV Club, her access to cameras and people, and her connection to the video store. But, would Ethel really do something like this? I can’t think of a reason why Ethel, who was very caught up in all the problems last season as well, would turn on her classmates and townsfolk.

I don’t think Ethel is capable of doing all these tapes, but I’m not convinced of that. She’s fooled us before!

7. Mr. Chipping

Is Mr. Chipping really dead? I don’t think anyone is truly dead in Riverdale. I have been expecting to see Jason Blossom alive in a non-corpse body for like three seasons. I’m still not convinced Mr. Chipping is actually dead.

If he’s not really dead, could he be trying to expose all the hypocrisy in Riverdale and beyond and punish those responsible for what happened to him? Are we sure the Stonies aren’t getting these videos, too?

Mr. Chipping hasn’t been seen in a long time, but I’m still not sure he can be ruled out.

6. Donna

It appears Riverdale has moved on from the Stonewall storylines, but I’m not entirely convinced we’ve seen the last of Donna Sweett. She was clearly the smartest person not named Betty or Jughead in the season, and I think she still has some role to play.

I don’t know if the videos seem like something Donna would do. It’s too creepy for Donna. Nonetheless, she remains a pretty high suspect on the list because I don’t think she’s done with Betty and Jughead just yet.

5. Moose Mason

The last time we saw Moose in Riverdale was in “Chapter Sixty-Nine: Men of Honor.” Moose meets with Betty and Alice at Pop’s to go over his reasons for leaving Stonewall Prep. There, Moose tells them that Mr. Chipping forced him into the military. It’s believed that Moose was going to be killed by the Stonies, and that’s why Chipping forced him to leave.

Moose has had a really rough time in Riverdale. He was nearly killed by the Black Hood in season 2, and later, his girlfriend, Midge, was murdered by the Black Hood. In season 3, Moose came out to his father, and then he was targeted by his father and the RROTC.

In season 4, he moved schools to Stonewall Prep after he was recruited by Mr. Chipping. Then, he left after he was blackmailed by Bret with a sex tape.

If there’s anyone on this list with more grudges against the rest of the characters, it should be Moose!
