There are 15 suspects who could be the voyeur who has tormented Riverdale residents in season 4 and who will be revealed in Riverdale season 5.

We still have a ton of questions after the Riverdale season 4 finale! But, we’re mostly wondering about one question: Who is the voyeur?

We’ll find out in Riverdale season 5 who was behind all those weird, creepy videotapes.

It’s been the longest ongoing mystery of the series, and because the season ended early, we still don’t know the identity of the voyeur.

In a recent interview with TV Guide, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared some information about the voyeur and revealed the reasoning behind this person’s actions is very “personal.” That’s very interesting.

Here’s what Aguirre-Sacasa said about the voyeur, via TV Guide:

“The voyeur is a very insidious villain. What the voyeur is doing is recreating horrific crimes that happened in Riverdale, that happened to our characters. In a way, it sort of is demanding that the kids, who have become desensitized to violence or moved on and processed it a certain way, look at their high school experience and these traumas, and deal with them before they leave Riverdale. That is sort of a theoretical, highfaluting idea of what the voyeur is doing.”

So, this person is basically trying to teach the kids of Riverdale, and their parents too, some kind of weird psychology lesson, or so it seems.

Below, we ranked the voyeur suspects least likely to most likely. There are 15 characters who could have pulled something like this off, and two were definitely working together if they did it.

14. Mary Andrews

Okay, this is probably the least likely person in Riverdale to actually do anything bad. But, that also makes her the perfect person to pull off something like this.

Mary has been through a lot over the last several months in Riverdale, and before Archie leaves for the Navy, she could be the person who wants to teach all these kids, Archie’s friends and the rest of the town a lesson.

Along with that, the main villain of the first three seasons of Riverdale has always been the parents! In the first season, we saw FP in hot water for Jason’s murder, and it was really Jason’s dad, Clifford Blossom, who murdered him.

In season 2, Hal Cooper was the Black Hood terrorizing the town. In season 3, we saw the destruction of Penelope Blossom. Could Mary Andrews be the one pulling the strings in season 4?

13. Penelope Blossom

Can we truly rule out Penelope after everything she did last season? I don’t really think Riverdale would double-down on Penelope as the season 4 villain after it was revealed that she was the season 3 villain last year.

But, Penelope is shady! She can’t be ruled out just yet.

12. Nana Rose

If there was anyone in Riverdale who might want to teach a lesson to all the people in the town, it’s Nana Rose, who has been putting up with the Blossom’s stuff for YEARS.

I question whether she has the capability to do any of the filming or organizing, but it’s clear that she knows what’s going on all the time. Could Nana Rose and the rest of the Blossoms be behind the videos? It’s possible, I guess.

11. Hermosa Lodge

Hermosa is relatively new in Riverdale, but she’s seen enough to understand how truly messed up the people and this small town is. I could see her wanting to teach the kids and parents of Riverdale some sort of lesson.

And, I have no doubt that she has the time, resources and expertise to make all these videos.

I don’t know why she would do such a thing, but we really don’t understand her or her motives just yet anyway.

10. Alice Smith

The parents-are-the-real-villains thing is real! And, Alice has taken a little bit of a backseat this season in Riverdale. Is that because she’s actually been turning the mirror on the town?

She is a reporter. We saw those weird news reports earlier in the season, and we know she has plenty of video equipment, so it’s possible she could be the voyeur.

I don’t think Alice is actually responsible, but she definitely has to be considered a suspect, given her access to equipment and her previous actions. I could see her trying to help right the ship in these kids’ lives.
